The Sterner Family – Extended Family Photos on Lake Bemidji

What better way to preserve vacation memories in Northern Minnesota than to hire a professional photographer? 

Getting the whole family together is not always an easy task. For some families, like the Sterners, kids live states away with little availability for trips home. So when the family gets together, it is important to make the most of it.

For the Sterner family’s reunion they decided to spend time away relaxing and soaking in the summer on the shores of Lake Bemidji. Boats rides, fishing, and lots of cousin play time were all a part of the family trip up north. The grandma knew this time together, something difficult to come by in this season of life, needed to be frozen in time. The giggles, smiles, and silliness when together wasn’t something they wanted to let pass by with little to remember it by.

Could’ve they pulled out their phone and used a tripod or propped it up on a nearby table? Sure. Would’ve the process been more stressful with little room to document individual personalities? Certainly. My goal with every session is to not just take beautiful photos but to help make you comfortable and bring out the connection and emotion that is unique to your family.
